The art of cutting flowers

I know most of us are aware of the general rule of cutting the tip of your flower stems at an angle before placing them in a vase — but how do you easily get them to all rise to a symmetrically arched height once in your vase?!

Here’s what I do to achieve that flush look — cutย about an inch off your first stem at that proposed angle; then take that cut piece of stem, and hold it next to each new stem you cut as your guide — simple! It’s the best way to keep them all level!

How pretty are these beauties my husband brought home to me last night?!
