Good morning, friends. 🙂 I hope you were able to grab a moment to yourself before the day’s workload set in? If not, I recommend you wake even just 15 minutes earlier than normal tomorrow, to ensure you do! It’s one of my favorite moments of my day.
I typically begin by using my “One Line a Day” book to capture some savored moments from the day before, that I know I’ll want to remember next year. You can find this beautiful book for less than $20, by clicking here!

And then comes my planner check-in — first of many for me throughout the day! I don’t know about you, but lists are my favorite! So, let me tell you a secret — sometimes, I’ll even write a list of the things I’ve accomplished, just to check them off: it helps me center myself in the middle of particularly hectic days and ensure I stay on track. I actually heard once that doing so is a psychologically recommended practice! And lastly, I write a little note referencing what I was grateful for the night before. So for example, today, I’d write down what I appreciated about yesterday. I write my note on one side, and leave the other for Leo to write his. We fold these up every day and drop them into a mason jar which we plan to read this coming NYE 🙂 It’s not too late to start! You can make yours a summer project!
